Basic Guidelines to write Thesis Paper

The thesis paper is a complexity of research that proves your knowledge that you have learned during a graduation program whereas a dissertation is a chance during post-graduation degree which contributes theoretically as well as practical knowledge to your subjective fields.   • Discussion on the thesis
  • Results (with relevant information) 
  • Your reviews (You can add the reviews of people too, if possible)
  • Conclusion
  • Recommendations
  • Reference list
  • Appendices (if required)


Things to keep in mind:-

About title page: This page is designed according to the institute’s requirements. Mostly, students are provided with the measurements of the title formats.

About Acknowledgment: In this section, you can mention the name of the person who supported you during your research work. It can be your relatives, family members, or teachers and any other person who can help you with this.

Table of content: List out all the sections and subsections of your thesis. You can add several tables and figures in it, which makes it easy for the reader to find out on what page number he/she can get the information they need.

Abstract: This will show the objective of your thesis, which clarifies a picture of your paper to the reader. You can add the result of your research work in brief in a precise manner.

Introduction: As it is the beginning of the thesis, you have to write it down in such a way that it can grab the attention of the reader. Further, the introduction of the thesis paper must be to the point so that the reader can get the basic idea of your paper.

Research report & discussion on the thesis: Give the details of your work and explain the point of the research. Discuss all the possible question which can arise in the head of the reader.

Result & Reviews: Finally, explain the outcomes of the research by adding the reviews on that result (it may consist of your reviews or the other persons’).

Conclusion: Summarize your thesis with all the required information listing out your purpose of thesis topic. The basic instruction on how to write a thesis paper suggests not to add new data or ideas in this paragraph.

References: This is something that has to be arranged differently. So, you can list out the names according to alphabetical order, sort by surnames of the author, which you have referred to.
